Abstract

This invention relates to compounds that are inhibitors of S100 protein binding interactions, such as, for example, the annexin A2-S100A10 protein binding interaction. More specifically, this invention concerns certain substituted pyrrole derivatives of the general formula I or II as defined in patent, as well as processes for preparing these derivatives, pharmaceutical compositions comprising these derivatives and their use in the treatment, prevention or delay of progression of diseases in which S100 protein binding interactions are implicated (such as cancer).
