    Abstract

This text explains to nurses the reasons behind the treatments they must give in an A&E environment, as opposed to simply what they must do. It features sections that are dedicated to giving advice in more specific situations, such as paediatrics or mentally ill patients who arrive in A&E. It also makes for a useful reference guide for skilled nurses who want to brush up their knowledge- exploring issues from law to bereavement.
