Research on human rights to work in the worldwide COVID-19 conditions: comparison of international experience.

Abstract

In the research authors highlight how governments’ preventive actions have affected the fundamental rights and freedoms of the population, including the human right to work and employment in the COVID-19 environment as a whole. The thorough analysis of the active actions of some European and continental countries of the world, emphasized the peculiarities of the countries in the main differences in the attitude concerning the pandemic, the response to the political global pressure, the economic crisis were done. Actions that could be an
alternative method of overcoming the effects of quarantine in employment relations, as well as overcoming human rights restrictions during the Covid-19 pandemic, are proposed. Implementing the experience of Germany and the Czech Republic, the authors have suggested that other countries of the world apply subsidies and benefits to employers who will save their wages for their teleworkers. The practice of negotiating the Italy’s Government with the trade unions has proved that “the right to life is above all”.
