Research output: Book/ReportBook

Abstract

The idea of this work arose from several questions about the objective of sanitary regulation, the real needs of public health in the country, the difficulties of understanding by colleagues and the absence of bibliographic references and books published in the area. Only well-studied regulatory frameworks, such as science, can build a nation's pillars of support in the face of the social, political, and economic diversity we face. Therefore, this book covers a wide range of knowledge, such as the origin of health regulation and its changes throughout history, the national and international scenarios, the main international regulatory bodies and their functions, and the process of drug regulation in Brazil. Thus, it stands as a reference for professionals not only in the pharmaceutical field, but in general health. The content presented is not limited to laboratory practices, it is also structured into regulatory models that enhance knowledge, science and knowledge. And the knowledge is infinite, which arouses us much more motivation, because this work is only a beginning.
