Abstract

To confirm the factor structure of the 7-item adult form of the Francis scale of attitude towards Christianity, data from 135 English university students were examined using both exploratory and confirmatory factor anal!:tic methods. Results suggest that the 7-item adult form of the Francis scale has a unidimensional factor structure. In addition, the reliability estimates indicate that the 7-item adult form is highly homogeneous. It is suggested that these results confirm the unidimensionality of the 7-item adult form of the Francis scale.
