    The book intends to develop the health care student’s knowledge and skills both in theory and practice and to apply this knowledge in order to provide safe and effective high quality care. The overriding aim of this text is to relate the normal body functions to pathological changes that may lead to disease processes, preventing the child from leading a “normal” life.
