Abstract

The person living with autism and sensory processing disorder find important within their structure of their day-to-day life, which helps to manage the sensory world and effects it has on them. When they experience admission to acute mental health inpatient services, often their structure is significantly disrupted to the extent it causes plates and anxiety and stress. During 2015/16 semistructured qualitative interviews were conducted with mental health patients with ASC in the East of England.
