Abstract
The symposium brought together impacted people and dedicated experts, including researchers and policy advocates from around the world, to share their experiences, learnings, and recommendations to improve perinatal care and reduce the number of pregnant people and newborns living in prisons. Presenters described policies and programs in their countries, shared their research, and offered personal stories of incarceration during pregnancy.
