Abstract
This report examines one object oriented development method, the Object Modeling Technique (OMT) of Rumbaugh et al. There are three main sections which summarise the technique, outline the key precursors and review the literature on the OMT. Knowledge of the basic concepts in object oriented methodologies is assumed.
