Abstract

This research explores the role of mentorship in pharmacy education, highlighting its benefits in reducing workload stress, fostering long-term growth, and sparking research interest among students. Conducting a systematic search from 2000–2017, it found mentorship programs to be effective in enhancing research, leadership, and communication skills among 662 pharmacy graduates. The study underscores mentorship's importance in academic and clinical fields, enhancing student and academician satisfaction and productivity. It concludes that mentors, as role models, significantly contribute to preparing pharmacy students for improved healthcare delivery.
