Abstract

The supply of accommodation may hinder the growth of London's tourism industry. Policies concerning accommodation provision and working conditions in London's tourism industry are reviewed. Particular attention is paid to proposals for hotel accommodation and other tourist facilities in the Docklands where redevelopment provides an opportunity for tourism to be used as part of new policy initiatives in a wider process of economic regeneration. -Authors
