[un]bound entity + Companion Species (garden fox): a hybrid sculptural entity and a triptych B&W photograph

Research output: Non-textual formArtefact

Abstract

Kefford exhibited two non-textual works: [un]bound entity and Companion Species (garden fox). Assembled from recycled, repurposed, and locally sourced materials, [un]bound entity evokes a ‘chthonic one’ emerging from Haraway’s speculative Terrapolis, embracing cyclical processes of making, unmaking, and remaking. Companion Species documents a spontaneous interspecies encounter, where a fox engages with a garden sculpture, evidencing multi-species entanglement.
