Abstract

This rapid literature review was commissioned by the NSPCC to explore the current
knowledge base on deploying volunteers to support vulnerable families. The review sought to understand the main drivers for recruiting volunteers to these roles, the benefits of involving volunteers and the key challenges, learning and recommendations.
