Abstract

The 40th and final release on Sacred Tapes comes from artist Hannah Dargavel-Leafe in the form of HDL - Whales Have Hind Legs. A short but amazingly well crafted collection of tracks made using sounds recorded at a former whaling station in Iceland. The tracks themselves were produced over the course of a year alongside a body of sculptures and drawings, one of which has been reproduced for the insert with this tape.
