Abstract
This paper is a poetical interpretation of the findings from visual ethnography completed in South East London. It contains poetical fragments juxtaposed with the empirical evidence representing the current approach to migration in the UK. The author self-reflects on her own position of a researcher, immigrant and a resident of the local community, where she tries to settle and 'make home'.
