Abstract
IP & IT analysis: Edina Harbinja, law lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire, explains the issues surrounding
the treatment of our digital assets and possessions once we die, including the actions to be taken by our next of
kin. While individual service (IP) providers have started to provide for such eventualities, this area of law is still
unclear and often lacking any kind of guidance.
