Dr Benjamin Richard


Dr. Benjamin Richard is a Vice Chancellor’s Research Fellow in the Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences. After a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and computer sciences and a master’s degree in Environmental sciences, he did a PhD in Plant pathology at the INRA centres of Rennes and Toulouse in France. After his PhD, he worked 4 years at Rothamsted Research as a crop modeller on bioenergy crops and since May 2018, he is working at Herts University on the role of airborne inoculum on disease epidemics and on modelling the impacts of climate change on occurrence and distribution of fungal diseases.
