Dr James Jenkins


James is Head of Geography, Environment and Agriculture at the University.

His teaching and research specialisms sit within in the area of Geography and Environmental Management, with him lecturing on a wide variety of geographical and environmental issues. His research interests in sustainable environmental practices have focused largely on international comparisons of water resources management, with a particular focus on drinking water quality, water usage, and consumer engagement. He also has experience of research projects focused desertification and the environmental performance of SMEs.

James is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy and the Royal Geographical Society, and a Full Member of the Chartered Institute of Water and Environmental Management as well as being a Chartered Geographer and Environmentalist. James is passionate about his subject area, so if you think he can be of help, do not hesitate to contact him.
