Overview

Marija Cubric is a Reader in e-learning and Principal Lecturer in Information Systems and Project Management at University of Hertfordshire Business School.  She received her BCs/MSc in Mathematics/Informatics from University of Belgrade and her PhD in Computer Science from Concordia University in Montreal in 1994. Prior to joining the University in 2004,  she worked in telecommunication R&D in Canada and the UK.  In 2007 she was selected for a four-year secondment to the University's Blended Learning Unit, a HEFCE (UKRI) Centre for Excellence to promote innovative e-learning practice across the University and nationally. Since then she has published and presented her work in peer-reviewed publications and international conferences, and has completed externally funded projects (JISC EVS, iTEAM, HEA, COST) in the area of e- learning, information systems and agile management education. Her current work is focused on exploring applications and implications of AI and data-driven innovation in business,  management and e-learning domains. She is a Fellow and a Chartered IT professional of the British Computing Society (BCS),  and a Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy (HEA). She also serves as a journal Editor for EJEL (Scopus, ABS, ESCI), and works as a consultant for EU Innovation Council and the UK Tech Partnership Degrees.
