Abstract

The chapter has been commissioned as part of the Palgrave Handbook of Climate Resilient Societies, edited by Robert C Brears. Focusing on Shaping Foodspace for Climate Resilience the chapter explores from primary and secondary research sources theories and examples of resilient approaches to foodspace in urban settlements of all scales from domestic space to productive regions. It looks at the urbanism issues raised in building in food resilience in a situation of global climate emergency.
